love CAN conquer evil

woke up to news of another terrorist attack in london

young islamic extremists driving into people on london bridge then stabbing others in borough market

i really don't understand what their intention is/was: to upset our democratic way of life, that is liberal and challenging to them and/ormaybe payback for doing too little or too much in muslim countries overseas

but do any terrorists believe that by killing some 'innocent' people that they will get a voice in world politics, get a country, change people into following shia law?

etc..

it seems like pointless, cowardly (always) violence for no purpose other than to be bastardly.

i just don't get what they think it'll change for them...

except maybe a misguided short cut to heaven...?

a sad day spent with the news on in the background

and later watched the ariana grande show which noel gallagher should have made it to and instead had chris martin doing orvil impressions as backing vocals on 'live forever'

huge roast chicken dinner

exhausted and miserable to bed, still watching the depressing news

the ugly of everything: donald slump and global warming, syria, north korea, ISIS: all seem so far away from the peaceful idyll of cornwall

and i wish i was back there, permanently swimming with the fishes in the cold sea
