GREAT CHAP

GREAT CHAP

aka. knackered looking tango man

apparently cement dust ages you 10yrs

cyclists dis

the day did not start well.
had to lend lucy my keys as she'd lost hers

she left and i couldn't find my wallet

rang her on her phone which rang in our bedroom: she'd left her phone at home

drove to new old house to give her back her phone
and to see if my wallet was there

it wasn't, so started driving back to temporary accommodation when z called to say john the plasterer (distant cousin of john the baptist) had found my wallet yesterday and moved it to a safe place

drove back to new/old house to pick up my wallet

then DTT up the M2 instead of usual M20

which turned into a 10 mile gridlock traffic jam due to high winds and THE MAN closing the M25

took 3.5hrs to get into town
was an hour late for my shoot down de giant tunnel with hawkins brown and crossrail

this amusing photo: harbinder birdi

shooting in the tunnels is exhausting but very interesting: feel privileged to see parts of the structure that the public won't ever see and to see how the tunnels have come together

when the station and tunnels are open, they'll look like they were made by machines: perfect, white curves and polished finishes.
but they were made by people
i've been photographing the people and the signs of life that will soon be covered over forever.

RTB then RTDDK

the knee i DIDN'T break is hurting
