meanwhile in east london, lunatics decorate a pub
the lord napier
we almost bought this place for £180k before we bought the perou factory next door.
when we looked round it was being used by an african church.
came complete with a sandpit with chicken claw prints in it.
bad ju ju
while we were at the perou factory it got taken over by squatters
who later squatted the perou factory after we'd left but still owned it.

the wick isn't UNrecognisable
but the perou factory is long gone, as are the fields we used to roll around in and the derelict warehouses i used to photograph bands in (and damien lewis for something and dita von teese for vivienne westwood)
and it's covered in 'art' and hipsters now
instead of covered in burning cars and fly-tipping
what would reg-i-mental make of it all?

ancestors of insignificance, obliterated: wiped off the face of this scorched earth
